NEW APP GIVES ARTISTS, EVENT PLANNERS AND DALLAS DWELLERS THE POWER TO BOOK THEIR OWN VENUES

Zenu, the Air BnB for booking, makes it easy and painless to book a venue anywhere, anytime

(DALLAS, June 2017; source: CultureHype) Roy Vann, music artist and former owner of Dallas Knight Life, is thrilled to announce the launch of his newly developed booking app, Zenu, this summer. Designed primarily with music artists in mind, the app gives anyone the power to book conventional and unconventional venues in Dallas-Fort Worth for events, concerts, weddings and more on your smartphone device. With an official launch date of Tuesday, July 11, the Zenu booking app will be available for download on any handheld Apple device.

“I see Zenu eventually becoming what Airbnb is for residential rentals in a commercial space,” said Jay LaFrance, owner of The Longhorn Ballroom.

A creative at heart, Vann believes that Zenu will give artists the power to manage their shows at a personal level, allowing for more control and creativity. The app’s venue booking capabilities will not be limited to concert venues, however. Zenu can be used for finding traditional and nontraditional wedding venues, fashion and art show venues, festival venues, and corporate seminar venues. Zenu’s patent-pending state of the art technology allows users to tour venues in virtual reality from the comfort of their own homes. Saving time and money for both parties, venue and event planner.

“The app was inspired by my desire to book my own shows as an artist,” Vann said. “As a promoter and an artist, I was in a unique spot to book my own shows and book myself as an opening act, but the stress that came along with that process is what inspired me to create this simpler process. From there I was able to see all of the other industries this could affect.”

A noteworthy feature of Zenu is its timeliness. For example, booking a regional tour consisting of multiple city tour dates and states can be booked in less than 20 minutes. The app will also have easy navigation and readability, showing users the available dates and prices of the venue. Zenu has gone through extensive Beta tested by people from all walks of life and enables the casual event planner to book with little to no experience or a professional event planner to take their business to the next level. With commitments from nearly two dozen local venues, the app will be off to a great start this July.

“I can’t wait until the day when I want to book a venue and I open Zenu and there are hundreds of unique spaces to choose from all over the U.S.,” said Broadrick Umeh, co-owner and event planner at Dallas Entourage.

Created to streamline booking requests, Vann hopes to alleviate the stress of booking your dream venue for all types of people, including event planners or those who are looking for a corporate event space, unique wedding destination or the perfect spot to host a birthday celebration.

“Our app is unique because it takes an outdated, disorganized, and sometimes dishonest booking process and centralizes it while creating transparency and convenience for all,” Vann said.

Zenu will be free to download for regular users on any handheld Apple device through the App Store on Tuesday, July 11. Venues have the option to choose from three different subscription options ranging from a free Bronze Plan to a Gold Plan at $99 per month, which includes virtual reality setup and functionality.
