Flea Style, which began as a one-day showcase of local artisans and transformed into a full-fledged lifestyle brand with a Deep Ellum storefront, an e-commerce shop, a podcast, and (soon) a restaurant, is turning 10 years old.

Kwon’s bags are crafted in New York City and made PVC-free and toxin-free. The ability to hand-wash them is also a perk. KWONN bags don’t have any hardware, which makes them lightweight, and are made with a non-woven material that look similar to a suede texture sourced in Japan. Dissimilar to other vegan fabrics, Kwon’s bags are made with plant-based polymers.

There were blues & soul acts like Otis Redding, James Brown & Bobby “Blue” Bland, who Mick Jagger came to see play one night. There were punk & rock acts like the Ramones, Patti Smith & George Thorogood, at whose show several beer-bottle fights broke out. And there were alternative & heavy metal acts, like Butthole Surfers, Flaming Lips & Megadeth, whose RV was almost toppled by Rigor Mortis after the two bands got into a skirmish.
